Sydney Nolan, Founder & Head Mental Performance Coach
B.A. Neuroscience & Behavior, M.A. in Sport and Performance Psychology
Sydney Nolan was raised in Colorado and played Division III lacrosse at Wesleyan University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience & Behavior and is certified in Mindfulness Meditation Coaching through Dharma Moon. Sydney earned her Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology and is on track to receive her CMPC certification in 2025.
Her professional journey began as the Director of Partnerships and Mindfulness Coach at a mindfulness-focused athlete training company. In the summer of 2024, she interned at West Point Academy’s Center for Enhanced Performance, where she provided mental skills training to cadets.
At Snap Mental Performance, Sydney works with a wide range of athletes—from youth to professional levels—offering tools to help them thrive in both sport and life. Her work also includes supporting athletes through injury recovery, sport/life transitions, and adult athletes at both competitive and recreational levels.
With a strong foundation in both personal experience and academic training, Sydney is deeply committed to helping athletes become their best selves—on and off the field. She is a passionate mental health advocate who prioritizes well-being and fosters meaningful connections. Her mission is to empower athletes to take control of their performance and well-being, turning their minds into their greatest superpower.
Jacob Morton, Mental Performance Coach
M.Ed. in coach education and athlete development & CMPC
Jacob joins Snap Mental Performance with over a decade of coaching and five years of mental performance work. From the start of his career, he has been dedicated to helping athletes and coaches develop resilience, focus, and confidence. Drawing on mindfulness and acceptance-based techniques, he equips performers with tools to manage pressure and sustain excellence.
As the Director of Mental Performance at Northside Youth Organization and a lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Elmhurst University, Jacob has designed and led programs that strengthen team culture and promote athlete well-being. He has presented on mental fortitude and burnout prevention at the 2024 Association for Applied Sport Psychology Conference and is completing the Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) credential.
Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver, Jacob’s work integrates applied sport science and psychology to help individuals perform their best—on and off the field.
