Mental performance is crucial in sports. It’s impossible to stay connected physically on the field without staying mentally connected. There are so many layers to our mind-body connection – handling the highest pressure situations on the field, overcoming injuries and physical stress, managing the outside stress when on the field, finding consistency, and so much more. If we put a fraction of the focus on our mental training that we do on our physical training, we’d be a lot more equipped to compete at the highest level possible and truly enjoy doing it along the way.
